Here in Sao Paulo, Brazilian-Portuguese is very difficult to understand. It seems to me I could understand more Spanish before I started learning than I can understand Brazilian-Portuguese now.

Anyway, I try to speak in Spanish here, which many people do (they call it Portugnol). Otherwise, many people speak English.

I have eaten a funny fruit which has no name in English. I should get a picture!

I am currently in an Open Source association's "cultural center". All ports are blocked except 80 (no SSH, no Tbird, no ICQ/MSN/etc). Good thing there are many web-based alternatives, such as:
